SAVMA's Covid Community Scholarship

The SAVMA's Covid Community Scholarship was spearheaded by SAVMA presidents Melissa Rubinow and Prathima Garudadri to honor students who have had to overcome and adapt during their time at UC Davis. The scholarship is awarded to a 2nd or 3rd year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) student who has a passion for innovative leadership and is an advocate for all students at the School of Veterinary medicine and who has a passion for innovative leadership and has shown adaptability in challenging circumstances. Established in 2021 by the SAVMA student club.
