Art was pivotal in advancing energy efficiency technologies and bringing energy efficiency to the forefront of State and national energy and environmental policy.
The Arthur H. Rosenfeld Chair in Energy Efficiency recognizes and supports an exceptional member of the energy efficiency faculty at UC Davis. The chair further promotes the EEI’s mission to accelerate the commercialization of energy efficiency technologies, train future leaders in energy efficiency, and conduct critical policy-supporting research. The chair recognizes in perpetuity Art’s unmatched contributions to the field and brings great prestige to the area of academic study he championed. The Rosenfeld Chair is currently held by Dr. Michael Siminovitch.
