The Friends is a community support group founded in 1971 to support the Arboretum and Public Garden through donations, volunteers, and outreach activities. Your donation during the Friends year-end annual appeal, or any time of year, will help the Friends provide critical support for the Arboretum's public gardens, sustainable horticulture activities and community education programs. Donations ensure that the Arboretum and Public Garden continues to thrive as an exceptional place of beauty, learning and environmental stewardship in our region.
The Friends group directs annual fund gifts to support current priorities. This year the major focus is on the Arboretum and Public Garden's unique student leadership development initiative: Learning by Leading. Gifts to the Friends help support one major strand of this initiative which connects undergraduate learning with public engagement through free visitor programs created and led by students in the campus landscapes.
The Friends of the Arboretum and Public Garden appreciate your generous support.
